United Rural Development Organization (URDO) is a National Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with its head office based in Peshawar and regional offices in Nowshera, Bunir, Swabi and Abbottabad Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. The organization has its outreach across 21 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, 7 FATA Agencies/ 6 Frontier Regions (FRs).
URDO is working across multiple development sectors including education, human rights peace, democracy, gender and reproductive health and other community development sectors across Pakistan, particularly Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and FATA region.
So far, URDO has been actively involved in good governance, peace building, human rights, reproductive health, women empowerment, HIV/AIDS prevention, and community development, capacity development of the local government representatives / CSOs and advocacy / networking among governmental organizations, civil society and communities.

URDO organize and strengthen the public interest organization, networks to empower the disadvantaged section of society including minority, differently able, children and women to take charge of their prioritize needs and rights to achieve just and dignified share in development process.
